Interior Designer / Wood Engineer
Specializing in front-end development for luxury furniture, I bring extensive experience across all phases of the interior development. With a robust background in project management and customer relations, I leverage my expertise in wood engineering to creatively address challenges.
My Story
I was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1996, where I grew up alongside my family's carpentry business. In my early days, I spent time crafting toys, wooden houses, and the like. During my adolescence, under the guidance of my strict and professional father, I began actively participating in the workshop, starting from the initial stages.
After completing my education in interior design, I decided to establish my own identity. In 2015, I secured my first employment opportunity in Samobor with a furniture manufacturing company, marking the beginning of my journey. I engaged in all aspects of production, gaining valuable insights into the manufacturing process and understanding the machine capabilities and limitations.
Building on my previous experience working alongside my father and with a former company, I am now presented with an exciting opportunity in the next venture. I will be working as a Furniture Engineer/Interior Designer. As they say, actions speak louder than words, and in my case, my hands-on experience speaks volumes. With a solid foundation in manufacturing, I have achieved notable results, earning me the role of the youngest project department manager.
My responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including 3D modeling and visualization, technical detailing of furniture, procurement of necessary materials, production organization, client communication, and more. This diverse skill set, coupled with a proven track record, positions me to bring innovation and efficiency to the role of Furniture Engineer/Interior Designer in the new company.
Currently, I serve as a Project Manager for a Croatian company focused on the British, German, French, Netherlands, and other European markets, specializing in the creation of luxury stores. My role involves technical preparation and visualization, overseeing the entire process from conceptualization to the final product. The unique design aspect of my work lies in my ability to encompass and implement various materials, including solid wood, composite materials, kerrock, compact, glass, metal structures, stone, electrical installations, and more.
My ambitions have led me to excel in a multitude of fields and projects, which I have independently undertaken. I have experience working with a 3D printer and successfully integrating it into production processes, creating various components for machines, logos, and more. Additionally, my skills extend to graphic design, construction work, prototyping using a 5-axis CNC machine, crafting metal structures, furniture design, and beyond.
